Counting Down The Days

Hey everyone,

I don't really use blogs, but I think that it will be the best way to keep my family and friends updated with my experiences in South Africa. Yes, you heard me right, South Africa. If you readers (whoever you may be out there) think I'm going alone, need not to worry. I will be taking part in an AFS (American Field Service) exchange program. I will be going to a South African high school and will live with a host family. Currently, I don't know where I will be or with whom I will live. I'm leaving in less than 70 days and I cannot wait. I have two and a half weeks of school left before break and then only a week and a half after break. After that, I'll be doing my senior service project and getting prepared to leave for Africa! I've never been so excited for something in my life. This experience will be an amazing and unforgettable one, and I'm happy to share it with anyone who is interested.
